Senior QA Engineer (Hibrido, Lisboa)
Publicada 28 de JulhoWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and establish the QA Automation practice from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the testing strategy and methodology, implementing automation frameworks for API services and desktop applications, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
This role requires strong technical expertise in test automation, a proactive mindset, and the ability to design scalable and maintainable quality assurance processes within an enterprise environment.
Principais Responsabilidades:
- Define and implement the QA automation strategy, methodology, and best practices from scratch.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for API services and desktop applications.
- Migrate and structure existing test documentation into Jira and Xray, ensuring full traceability and efficient test management.
- Develop automated API tests for WCF SOAP, WCF HTTP, and REST services using the Karate Framework.
- Validate XML payloads and service contracts through XSD schema validation.
- Design and implement end-to-end automated test scenarios across multiple services and integration points.
- Develop functional UI automation for WinForms and WPF desktop applications using FlaUI and WinAppDriver.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Jenkins pipelines to orchestrate API and desktop test execution on Windows Virtual Machines.
- Manage project dependencies through Artifactory for Maven and NuGet packages.
- Structure, maintain, and execute test cases, test cycles, and reporting within Jira and Xray.
- Publish automated test execution results from Jenkins pipelines directly into Jira/Xray.
- Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Promote QA automation best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requisitos mínimos
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in test automation.
- Proven experience building QA automation frameworks and defining testing strategies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Karate Framework, REST/SOAP APIs, and XML/XSD validation.
- Experience with desktop automation using FlaUI and/or WinAppDriver.
- Advanced C# programming skills for test automation development.
- Strong experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira/Xray, and CI/CD environments.
- Experience working with Windows Virtual Machines and Artifactory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
