QA Automation Engineer - French Speaker (Portugal)

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer fluent in French to join our engineering team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications by designing and executing manual and automated tests, contributing to test automation, and promoting QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Principais Responsabilidades:

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Perform manual functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and executions using Xray for Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test automation practices.

• Proven experience in QA Automation with Playwright (Node.js, TypeScript, or JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience with Xray for Jira and test management.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Bruno, or Playwright.
• Proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Professional fluency in French (mandatory) and English.
• Experience with BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin), performance testing (e.g., k6), or ISTQB certification is considered an advantage.
