Power BI Developer (Hibrido - Lisboa)

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join our data team and contribute to the development of scalable, reliable, and impactful reporting solutions.

The consultant will take ownership of Power BI projects end-to-end, working closely with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights. The role focuses on designing robust data models, developing high-quality dashboards, optimizing performance, and ensuring best practices across BI solutions.

This position is ideal for an experienced Power BI professional who is comfortable working independently, driving projects forward, and delivering business value through data.

Principais Responsabilidades

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements.
  • Own BI projects from requirements gathering through delivery and deployment.
  • Build and optimize data models, including star schemas, relationships, and measures.
  • Develop advanced calculations using DAX.
  • Perform data transformation and preparation using Power Query (M).
  • Optimize report performance, scalability, and dataset efficiency.
  • Apply data visualization best practices, including UX, storytelling, and usability principles.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across BI assets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboards, data models, and refresh processes.
  • Contribute to BI standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requisitos mínimos

  • 6-9+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service).
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and data modelling concepts.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions independently.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, data quality, and security features (e.g., Row-Level Security).
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and BI deployment practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
