Mid DBA SQL Server & Open DB (Hibrido, Lisboa)

We are looking for a DBA SQL Server & Open DB to join an Application Support team within the Databases area. The role involves working with SQL Server, MongoDB, SingleStore, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, contributing to business and technical projects, database architecture, performance, and operational stability in an international environment.

Principais Responsabilidades:

• Ensure database availability, stability, and performance, including incident and change management.
• Analyze and optimize database performance and queries.
• Contribute to database architecture, migrations, upgrades, and obsolescence management.
• Implement and document security, monitoring, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with Development, Production, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams.
• Support DevOps practices, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor new technologies and trends in Cloud, Big Data, and database architectures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and HPO interventions.

• Professional experience as a DBA, with strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with one or more Open DB technologies: MongoDB, SingleStore, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning, backup/recovery, monitoring, and security.
• Understanding of database architecture and production environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Cloud environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• High level of autonomy and adaptability.
• Good English communication skills; French is a plus.
• Availability for on-call duty.
