Publicada 4 de SetembroWe are looking for a GCP Data Engineer to join our data team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The ideal candidate has strong experience in data engineering, cloud technologies, and modern data platforms, with a passion for building reliable and high-performance data pipelines. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and business stakeholders to transform complex data requirements into robust technical solutions.
Fluent English is mandatory, as you will work in an international and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilites:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows.
- Work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and governance across data platforms.
- Optimize data pipelines and queries to improve performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI Developers, Analysts, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure the reliability of data solutions.
- Contribute to data architecture and technical decisions.
- Apply best practices around CI/CD, version control, testing, and infrastructure automation.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud data engineering.
Requisitos mínimos
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Solid knowledge of BigQuery and cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
- Experience developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Good programming experience with Python.
- Experience with data processing frameworks and/or orchestration tools such as Dataflow, Apache Beam, Cloud Composer/Airflow, or Dataproc.
- Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and distributed data processing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, and data governance principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international team.
- Fluent English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
