DevSecOps Engineer (Hibrido, Porto)

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Operations team in Porto and play a key role in strengthening the collaboration between our Development teams in Paris and our Application Production/Operations teams in Porto.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional with a strong passion for development, automation, and DevOps practices. Beyond technical expertise, the ideal candidate will act as a coach and mentor, helping the local Operations team build capabilities in Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and automation while supporting the modernization of our production environment.

Principais Responsabilidades:

  • Coach and mentor the Operations team on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and deployment processes.
  • Own, manage, and continuously improve release management and deployment pipelines using XL Deploy and XL Release.
  • Maintain and support the existing Windows Server and IIS infrastructure.
  • Drive and support the migration of existing applications and infrastructure to OpenShift and containerized environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Development teams in Paris to ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient software delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and promote automation across the production environment.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration between distributed teams.

Requisitos mínimos

  • Strong scripting and automation experience using Python and PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with XL Deploy and XL Release.
  • Solid background in Windows Server and IIS administration.
  • Practical experience with OpenShift, including containers, images, and pods.
  • Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of C# to better understand and support existing applications.
  • Experience with infrastructure modernization and cloud-native transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative DevOps environments.
