Application Support Enginner (Hibrido, Porto)

Join our team as an Application Support Engineer and help ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of critical banking and trade-finance applications.

You'll support application engineering activities across test and production environments, working on incident resolution, operational improvements, and the continuous enhancement of business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain operational test environments, including batch unblocking, queue-message management and SQL-script execution.
• Coordinate remediation actions with Business Analysts and developers.
• Participate in technical incident management in production and minimise operational disruption.
• Support application integration, industrialisation and continuous improvement across study, infrastructure and security teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Basic Java back-end knowledge.
• CI/CD and DevSecOps experience with Jenkins, XLD and XLR.
• Oracle databases, SQL views and SQL scripts.
• Agile / Scrum delivery.
• Incident-management experience and working knowledge of ServiceNow or Jira.
• English at B2+ to C1 level.
